Returns & Exchanges

At White Mountain Knives, we want you to shop with confidence. If your order is not what you expected, we are happy to help with a return or exchange.

Return Window

Returns or exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

This gives you time to receive your order, inspect it, and make sure it is exactly what you wanted.

To start a return, please contact us with your order number to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA):

Once an RMA is issued, we ask that the item be sent back within:

10 days for U.S. orders
21 days for international orders

Returns sent without an RMA, returned after the allowed timeframe, or shipped with labels attached directly to the product box may not be accepted and may be returned to you at your expense.

Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be:

Unused and in new condition
Returned with all original boxes, packaging, paperwork, and labels
Free from signs of use, carry, sharpening, disassembly, or modification

Please do not tape, write on, or place shipping labels directly on the product box. Items should be packed inside a separate shipping box or other protective outer packaging so the original packaging arrives back in resalable condition.

If an item is returned used, damaged, or with packaging that has been significantly damaged, the return may be refused, and the item may be sent back to you.

Return Shipping

For eligible U.S. returns, White Mountain Knives will provide free return shipping.

We reserve the right to require customers with excessive or habitual return activity to pay return shipping and/or be subject to a restocking fee as described below.

International customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless we made an error with the order.

If we shipped the wrong item or made an error with your order, we will make it right and cover the shipping costs related to the return or exchange.

Exchanges

Exchanges are welcome for eligible items.

For domestic exchanges, customers are responsible for sending the item back unless a prepaid return label is provided at our discretion, and White Mountain Knives will cover the shipping cost of the replacement item.

If the exchange is the result of our error, we will cover shipping both ways.

Refunds, Store Credit, and Restocking Fees

Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your choice of:

Refund to your original payment method
Store credit
Exchange

We do not charge a standard restocking fee on most returns.

However, we reserve the right to assess a minimum 15% restocking fee and/or require the customer to pay return shipping for excessive or habitual returns, including patterns such as:

More than 2 returns within 30 days, or
More than 3 returns within 90 days

AfterPay, Sezzle, and Pay Later Orders

Orders placed using Afterpay, Sezzle, or similar pay later payment methods are subject to a 5% restocking fee on returns and cancellations to help offset nonrefundable processing fees charged by those providers.

Please make sure the RMA number is clearly visible on the outside of the shipping package.

Important Notes

We strive to keep our return policy fair, simple, and customer-friendly. At the same time, returned merchandise must come back in resalable condition so we can continue offering competitive prices and great service.

We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet the conditions listed above.
