If someone is looking at this knife and thinking that they are seeing a highly practical cutting tool, I am happy for them. I think they might be delusional but I'm not going to rain on their parade.

The knife will cut. The blade stock is exceptionally thin and that is going to slice well. The tip is of course exceptionally pointy so poking things is on the menu.
The S shaped handle / blade profile is surprisingly comfortable, and the flipping action is great.

The reality is though that this thing is basically practical art. The machining needed to produce this is insane. The fit and finish is essentially perfect. I find the flipper fitting that screws on to the blade to be fascinating and a pretty novel take on taking super thin blade stock and making it a flipper.

The tool is interesting with equal quality fit and finish. It is essentially a pry bar, bottle opener, glass breaker, and bit driver. I don't know that I'd ever have a reason to use it, but it does showcase Rike's machining ability.

So why 5 stars? I rate it for what it is. Beautiful and practical art that is essentially knife shaped, and does meet the basic criteria of "knife". For Tommy Tactical, if this is the fighting knife of your dreams, knock yourself out. I think the blade is likely too thin for that role but hey, my combat ninja skills aren't even at level 2.
