    My Comments
    • This is a Medium size, Robust Fixed Blade – Tactical Drop Point Knife. It feels very stiff and strong in the hand due to the 0.180” blade stock. Blade stock is slightly thicker than typical for this size knife.
    • The overall package size of both the knife and sheath is quite small. Handle is shorter than blade.
    • 7/8 High, Flat Grind blade is thick and strong behind the tip. Tip is 3/8” below handle centerline.
    • The handle is Full length but is just long enough to get a full grip with size Large bare hands. It is a slightly cramped grip between the front finger guard and rear pommel curve. Gloved hands will certainly crowd the grip length space. These tapering to the rear, Coke bottle profile, 3D milled textured G10 grip scales are hand filling and quite grippy even when dry. I like how the grip handle profile tapers toward the heel. It is quite small in girth diameter at the rear. Handle could be longer.
    • Handle tang edges are crowned and slightly proud above the scales which provides a comfortable rounded handle feel. I can’t feel the tang and there are no hot spots.
    • Large ‘Pinch Grip’ contoured bevels on the front of the scales for precise Bushcraft blade work.
    • The blade spine has a wide width, full length false edge swage. The moderately crowned, ricasso edges will still allow fire steel striking.
    • Coarse thumb jimping(Gear style) on blade spine at ricasso is somewhat slick feeling. Could be more
    Grippy but it does work.
    • Lanyard holes at the front and rear of handle tang could be used to lash the knife to a spear pole.
    • Flat, slightly protruding handle pommel for smashing tasks.
    • Nice wide sheath thumb ramp makes it comfortable to extract the knife from the sheath.
    • T8 adjustable tension screw on the ABS sheath provides very secure, non-rattling grip on the knife.
    • Handle screws are only T8 Torx with a small diameter ¼” heads. Should be a larger size IMHO.
    • Five minutes on a strop produced a Razor Sharp edge.
    • This is a good all-purpose, nimble, lightweight and svelte handling EDC and hiking knife.

One of the best budget 'beater' fix blade

Got this because it looks very much like the Esee 4, but in my opinion the handle feels much better. Yes there are options for the Esee 4 but that's close to the price of this knife! The stock is generous and takes my abuse well. I can quickly touch it up to the sharpness I like and continue on. I think this is a fantastic all-around fixed blade and it's my go-to for a "what if... only 1 knife..." scenarios.

    Fixed Blade, Close to Perfect

Knife came super sharp. High pitch paper cut. I did need to increase the retention of the sheath, requires a T8 torx which is $3 bux at home depot. I was able to adjust to my ideal tension. The knife is great, price was good for the value... If it was 1/2" longer would be stellar. I am a fan of 14C28CN, best steel for reasonable price tag. Easy to sharpen, toughness at 3v level with excellent stainless.
