This replaced my 8 year old WE, and already I much prefer it. Chose the un-anodised to avoid scratches becoming so obvious, and I like the raw 'industrial' look, like a steam punk nipple clamp.

All functioning out of the box is excellent, precision made and dialed in, though I did put a spot of lube on the clamp screw threads. The stones are ok starters, broke them in on a cheap blade, sharpened about a dozen more so far. They're certainly adequate for general use while I find enough groats to acquire better stones, along with fillet clamps.

The stone holders tiny 1.5mm hex grub screw concerned me, but I have a quality hex key and it seems fine.
