Useful design, slip-joint deploys well with a hole instead of a nail-nick. Blade is very sharp out of the box. The saw's sharp teeth are useful on small diameters of wood, green or seasoned (tried on ash). Scissors are big, yet useful for a folding tool. Their configuration causes the fixed portion to pivot slightly when working the shears, but this is readily gotten used to. The remaining tool on the backside is a sharp awl with a threading hole. I read reviews before buying, and knew to expect this coupled with a too-strong spring. I cut a thin wooden wedge, insert it from the side under the blade, and pry upward. Extra step, but problem solved without deforming anything with pliers.

The knife is easily and inconspicuously pocketed. The camo is attractive as in the photos. I wax the saw with a candle stump to improve the action when cutting. The whole thing folded is hefty but not heavy, and much as expected. This was my first purchase from White Mountain Knives because here was the best price for it. The email follow-ups were timely and informative. Delivery was in good time.
