Out of the box the action on this knife is mind blowing! Benchmade should contact Kizer on how to properly make a crossbar lock. Only reason I'm not giving the knife 5 stars is because it didn't come that sharp out of box. I hit it with a strop and improved it a lot though.

I am a huge fan of the Kizer Drop Bear and own six different versions now! This one with the red micarta frag scales is my latest and it's great! It's a perfect edc size and has such smooth action. It's also ambidextrous! Can't go wrong with a Drop Bear!

Love the handle scales on this, they look incredible in person and are highly functional. And the Drop Bear itself is an amazing knife design, love the action on it.

Excellent knife. There are no issues with the fit and finish that I can tell, the action is very good and is adjustable, and the knife came sharp. The handle is comfortable, and the textured micarta scales have some grip but do not feel coarse. The stonewashed finish on the blade is a bit more noticeable in person than in the pictures, but it has a slightly shimmery look in the light, so I consider that a positive.

It is just an overall excellent production edc knife.
