So I have been pretty excited to pick up a Vosteed for a while now. I finally got sick of seeing different models show up and then go out of stock so I pulled the trigger on the Corsair. I initially didn't like the design but it grew in me. Once I had it in hand, I was in love I have EDCed Benchmade, Protec, CJRB, etc, and the only knife that touches the quality of the Vosteed is my Protec. The crossbar lock feels much more refined then the axis lock on my 940. Might just be tighter springs, but it just feels better. As does the blade lockup. Super solid no movement at all. Zero. Not like oh yeah that's pretty solid, but more like, oh is that actually a fixed blade? I don't know how they do it. And yet there is a sophistication in the overall feel. It still feels like a tool, but a Veritas, not a Craftsman, but at Harbor freight prices. I seriously can't get over it. After having the Corsair for a week I scoured the Internet for that full scandi Grind I have been pining after. Same deal, Rock solid. It certainly won't be my last Vosteed. I think I need a corgi running around my house .,..
