Of the two current styles I opted for the flat handle over the contoured alternative because I prefer a slimmer profile in the pocket and the pocket clip often holds a bit better on a flat surface. The beveled edges are still quite comfortable so no reason to go "contoured" unless that's what you prefer. There are actually three very useable grips: with the index finger in the handle depression, below the pivot, and finally in the blade choil. All are comfortable for me. The clip is rather long but flexes enough to make pocket entry and exit easy. The Elmax blade came very sharp and should need nothing more than an occasional stropping for a long time. I like the subdued belly that doesn't look out of proportion to the slim handle. As for deployment the reverse flick is great, and the top flipper also works well; using the blade hole and the thumb works but is my least favored method. The only minor irritation for me is the shape of the lock button which is a little too minimalist and requires a deep depression to unlock the blade. My overall impression of this model is very positive.

Everything about this knife is fantastic. Just buy it. You won't be disappointed.
