Living the knife life dream! In a short couple a years or so, this knife acquired 3 different locking systems. How awesome is that when the Buck 110 was the only pocket option for years. To me the Racoon is in the top 3 all time best budget folders, and the top-lock Racoon is best of all Racoon lock versions. Easiest, safe and strong lock to manipulate out of all Racoon options. Look at the Spyderco Smock’s popularity and longevity. The Vosteed Racoon is a beautiful, ergonomically, low cost option in multiple offerings with BIG Bang for the buck satisfaction. This is my uninfluenced opinion. Great times for knives!!!!

Big time Vosteed fan. This Raccoon with the top liner lock is the best of all versions. Out of the box smooth action with excellent detent tension. Smooth disengagement. I usually stay away from coated blades but this coating is superb. An excellent knife from Vosteed. White Mountain Knives is the ONLY place to buy knives from. Great people!
