This is a small knife that fits my hand (medium-large) perfectly when using the finger choil, but because the handle narrows at the tail end it feels as though my little finger might slip off when gripping just the handle. This doesn't seem to be a serious issue since this knife is probably going to be used for small cutting chores where the forward grip gives a lot of control. In that scenario my thumb fits just behind the rise in the harpoon swell and feels comfortable and secure. Hardware is T8 except for the clip. This is a great high-end edc.
