Don’t be fooled by the clean lines and integral handle, this is not simple engineering. What I love the most in high-end knives are the finer details that makes them look and feel so good, something that this knife has from top to bottom. The design, action, fit and finish are all incredibly good. While the timascus scales get the immediate attention, it’s the smaller design elements that keep me enthralled. The action is smooth and snappy without feeling that it disengages the bearing or lands hard. The hidden screw system isn’t obvious at first but when you realise that the only visible screw is on the clip, you wonder how the scales fit so well with minute tolerances when they are designed to be slipped off to access the pivot. Each time I pick it up, I have the same feeling as picking up a custom knife of twice the price. I recommend this knife to any serious collector or anyone that has wondered if high-end knives can be that much better.
