If you look up the definition of "quixotic" there are about a dozen synonyms so take your pick when describing the knife. However, before you spend over $200 on one of the recent WE offerings with the cheesy pocket clips and no backspacers you should take a look at this one. It has a slimmer build than most models, a very small flipper tab that works well and a blade that will actually slice. If you put your thumb and middle finger on the pivot, the cutout on the spine is a great place to put your index finger for fine work. The titanium backspacer covers about 80 percent of the blade and is quite attractive with the added jimping - and maybe even useful depending on your grip. This knfe is light for its size and the titanium clip gives you enough room for most material. If you're looking for pretty handles go for another model, but if you want a solid useful model that checks all the boxes this is it.
