The Artisan Proponent is crazy! It's a chopped off sward! I love this thing! The build quality on these are outstanding, especially for what you're paying. It fits well in hand and the blade came wicked sharp - perfect centering. It took a minute to figure out how to swap the pocket clip to southpaw, but I don't really intend to EDC this often as it weighs as much as my cellphone and is of similar size. I know these also come in heavy metal and premium options as well as mini-sized variants. I'll pick up some of those if and when they become available. Highly recommended! I really dont understand how you can get this much much blade and build quality for 60 bucks. I've bought the brass version and now the green g10. The brass is heavy but that's expected. The g10 is heavy relative to a normal pocket knife but for how large it is I'm very surprised at how good it feels in the pocket. It's already out of stock since I ordered mine and for good reason. Get this while you can.
