Budget version of the 4max this one sports Aus10 which in my opinion is a fantastic steel, Cold Steels steel always comes sharp sharp out of the box and this was no exception. Its a decent one handed knife just make sure your finger is up on the crecent just before the finger choil or this big ole blade will bite you. It is a big knife so it takes up almost the entire mouth of the pocket.
