i basically treat it as a ulu blade coz the blade shape is like so. just becoz it's so small and a bit hard to unsheath i just have a shallow cut on my thumb. i think a leather sheath would be much better

Never was much of a neck carry person. I haven't gone a day without wearing it since it arrived. It's a tool, and a good one too if you get to know it's capabilities. Added a mammoth ivory medallion to the lanyard to dress up the sheath. Great designer, great price, definitely would purchase again.
