I was interested to see if this model more closely resembled the slimmer handled knives that are now popular. Reducing the handle width to a bit over half an inch, as well as using 154cm as the blade steel makes this a more desirable pocket carry. Reduced weight, easy lock bar access, recessed pocket clip and screws, and T8 body screws (but not clip screws) round out a very nice budget package. Jimping on the blade spine is quite good. About the only criticism I have is that the area forward of the flipper does not separate the plunge from the sharpened edge significantly, nor is there enough room to make a good finger choil. Flipping action is good, but not great, with a midrange detent, I like this model although there is nothing particularly new about it.
