My first Petrified Fish and I'm quite impressed. When I took it out of the box, I immediately liked the silky/velvety feel of the carbon fiber scales. I have other CF knives, but none of them feel as luxurious as this one. The action is good (the detent is almost - but not -too stiff; the blade is dead-center and sharp as a scalpel. The exquisitely shaped blade is bead-blasted with a satin finish on the flats, which creates a very nice contrast. The clip has a subtle Petrified Fish logo on it and is titanium gray, so it matches everything on the knife and almost disappears. The 3" blade is my perfect size for EDC and the deep-carry clip means it disappears in your pocket. I'm very impressed with this knife and will probably be purchasing more Petrified Fish.

My 3" PF Warrior 949XC carbon just arrived and it's fantastic. Flawless fit/finish, excellent action, gorgeous sandblasted blade with satin flats. It is the carbon fiber handle, however that is unlike any other knife in my collection. It is finished beautifully and has a satin-like feel, smooth, but not slippery. Order 2 of these: one for yourself, another for a gift. You won't regret it.
