Nice pocketable knife. Fits well in the hand. Like the blade shape. Quality is good on my unit and the price was terrific. Always pleased with the selection and service at WMK.

I bought this knife with little expectation. The ergonomics of this knife are truly exceptional and I hope Spyderco will make versions with higher quality steels. However, it is very easy to sharpen and it is a quality in daily use. The edge of the astute is as long as possible for the size of the knife. I am very satisfied and this knife is now in my pockets every day. I also removed the clip which is too big for the size of the knife.

The astute is a great entry to the Spyderco world. Its steel is easy to sharpen and it has a long edge for a small knife. It is an excellent edc that is strong enough for medium jobs. The ergonomics are perfect for a medium sized hand. I removed the clip (which is way too big) because there is a very small knife in the bottom of a pocket.
