I first tried Spyderco's compression lock in a PM3 LW and did not like it one bit as a lefty.
The knife felt insecure and awkward to unlock with the left hand.
Saw the PM2 lefty version and decided to give it a try. That was certainly a good decision.
The PM2 is a great quality knife, it feels very solid. The blade is a bit shorter than I expected and the knife seems on the lighter side for the size. Action is reasonably smooth from the box (it should get much better) and centering is almost on point. Overall a great sturdy edc, even if a bit on the pricy side. Recommended.
