Went full circle! My first high end knife was a spyderco with a back lock that my wife bought me 14 years ago. Since then I've owned at least a hundred knives raging from budget to full on
customs. Don't get me wrong, flipping a fidget friendly knife on bearings is satisfying, but the nostalgia, simplicity, and solid build of the spyderco native is just as gratifying and gives a sense of dependability. I like the size and feel. Finish is great but will not flip out. Don't know if that is the design, the knife I have, if it needs cleaning and oiling, or needs breaking in.

What a great knife! Lightweight and fits in the 5th pocket of my jeans...this one you will literally forget is there. I can see it going through the wash soon! Love the shape of the blade and ergos are fantastic. Really fits the bill as a smaller Manix 2 albeit with a different lock. If you are looking for a working knife and aren’t worried about flicking it open and closed this is the one.
