In general, there are so many good things to say about this knife but most of them have been said, being based on the tried and true Endura. Chief among them though would be ergonomics. This feels like an extension of the hand.
So what makes this a Salt is partially what makes it a true lightweight, no liners to rust. The hardware is coated stainless steel and that blade; that sweet, sweet LC200N. If H1 edge retention held you back from getting a Salt, drop that concern. This stuff has great edge retention and none of my LC200N has ever shown so much as a speck of rust formation. For my use cases as an avid fisherman and somebody who needs and regularly uses a knife at work, this is the perfect steel. It strops up well, takes a crazy sharp edge pretty easily and will just never rust on me.
