Nice quality- razor sharp- nice clip- great feel from handle

Alright let’s start with the positives. Justin is a pleasure to correspond with. Now about the knife. Was very excited to get my first ever Spyderco, but that didn’t last long. Read and watched so many great and raving reviews. Perhaps that was a mistake to do as it raised my expectations to god tier knife. Mine came with the worst lock stick I’ve ever experienced from any lock type. The scales were much thinner than I was expecting and much lighter in color. Not a deal breaker but compounded the negative experience about the knife. The clip is horrible. I don’t understand why Spyderco continues to use these. I was going to move or replace it anyway. Most people say the do not feel the lock when they grip it. I did. Everyone says the ergos are great. It did not fit my hands well at all. My medium to large hands. The biggest disappointed for me was the blade play. There was some side to side blade play. I tightened the pivot without any results. For an American made knife and all the hype and real world applications this particular knife that I received was sub par at best. I thought they had great QC with their factory seconds being almost perfect. While my factory fist was anything but that. This has been my biggest knife disappointed. I own many knives ranging from budget to premium. Most of my budget knives had superior QC over this. And if there was something a bit off, it is easier to overlook.
The centering was good. That’s about all the positive things I can think of. Did not get a chance to check out the Cruwear since I immediately returned it. Not sure if I will try another Spyderco. I wish my experience was like everyone else’s.

PM 2 is already a stellar knife. Now, picture it with Cruwear and micarta! 5 stars. Razor sharp. Spyderco had me at Cruwear. Now, I had to buy when they dropped the PM 2 in micarta. Highly recommended ..
