I’ve always loved the blade geometry and overall strength and durability of the Shaman. No corners were cut in the manufacture and finishing, either. If you have an opportunity to get this knife, don’t hesitate! It’s my “grail” knife for all-purpose use!

I've bought 100+ knives over the past few years. None compare to the Shaman and it has become my all time favorite. Don't waste money trying to find equivalent qualities in other knives. Save money and buy this one knife. It will be all you'll ever need if taken care of properly. WMK is also the best online vendor in my experience. Every purchase has arrived sooner than expected in perfect condition.

Really great ergos, I love the stonewash as there are no hotspots on the jimping or spydie hole. the G10 scales are smooth, chamfered and fit the liners perfectly. The shaman was a little tight out of the box, easily fixed when a few loosening turns of the T8 scale screws and adjusting the T10 pivot screws. Fit and finish are excellent, the knife came apart easily and was easy to put together. Blade was centered and very sharp. The G10 had a light white cloud which is normal when new, fixed this too with a little dab of oil. This is a fidget addiction however i agree with the other reviewers about the choil hitting the index finger when closing. This does not bother me but I am dropping this review to 4.5 stars. As always, Justin comes through again with delivery, responsiveness to my questions and doing great work for WMK!

I love the Shaman. It's robust and the blade geometry is awesome! 2 gripes. 1. I hate spyderco's spoon pocket clip. Purchase a Lynch or MXG and that solves that problem. Second, the flipper tab wacks your finger when closing via compression lock. This is a small problem as you figure when to move your finger. Other than that, I highly recommend this incredible slicer.
