The steel (14C28N) will hold an edge for a good amount of time & can easily be brought back to super sharp condition with minimal effort. Great corrosion resistance. The handle is the most comfortable handle I've experienced with a kitchen knife (large hand).

Amazing knife for the price. The blade is thin not like on some od their other kitchen knives, so it performs very well. There is also the great (for the kitchen environment) Sandvik steel that stays razor sharp through long prep sessions.
If you take into consideration how inferior the steel is on Victorinox, Zwilling, Wusthof and other mainstream kitchen knife brands (some are even triple the price) you'll see the value found here. And when you see those nicely finished G10 handles with a mosaic pin... Just gorgeus. Highly recommended.
