This raccoon was my first Vosteed and my first White Mountain exclusive. The fit and finish is far above its price point. I couldn’t find any rough spots on the micarta, which is always a concern of mine when buying inexpensive knives with micarta. The frag pattern is very well executed. It’s not to rough but just enough for a fantastic grip. The button lock is smooth and secure. After owing much more expensive button locks that were just lacking in every way I was hesitant to try another but the raccoon restored my faith in them. And last but not least…the packaging is incredible. Cloth, tin, stickers, patches and a zipper pouch…

Great button lock. Action is smooth. The frag pattern scales are really good. This is what all button locks should be. Awesome quality , action and disappears in you pocket. Buy one you will not be disappointed!!

Great knife for the money strong detent good size feels good in the hand

The knife arrived centered, and need not adjustment for drop shut. The button lock is solid, and a few spine whack proved the previous issue was resolved. Overall, the micarta could be better and not too dry - 4/5
